One of the things I’ve valued most about my move to Seattle is my ability to work in a field where I’m increasing the presence of women fields where they’re wildly underrepresented, and I love seeing organizations pop up with that same goal at the heart of their mission. Derech Emunah, an all-girls school in Georgetown, is doing just that for young Jewish women in Seattle by providing our community with individualized, interdisciplinary education that encourages girls to connect their studies – both in Judaics and general curriculum.
